A friend, Puja, mentioned a list "75 things a man should do" from esquire magazine at dinner last night w/ the Mrs. #8 was making a perfect omelette. While I don't think mine are perfect, I agree that they are a perfect way to use left over raw ingredients.
Slow Cooker Rigatoni
The Mrs. and I got a nice slow cooker as one of our wedding gifts. It was sitting in a box for a while until Rahul convinced me to open it up and give it a shot. The Mrs. loves pasta and I wanted to try a slow cooker so I found a recipe that combined both. At first I was a little skeptical, raw pasta in a slow cooker? But it turned out well and produced a lot of leftovers. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Instagrahamed!
While baking the cake pops last week a friend introduced me to the site, Bakerella. Living in Silicon Valley, this post instantly caught my eye.
This was my first time using fondant and I think I'll use it again. Bake the graham crackers first and then layer on the fondant to make the instagram logo.
Not only did the Mrs like the taste, she even commented: "Oh. my. god. I don't think a man has ever baked this before."
The Mrs. provided the instagram of the instagraham:
